I read the spylocked info to get it out and part of the instructions state to start my PC in safemode. However, I can't seem to make that work. I have a compaq and even tried their instructions about starting in safemode. It doesn't work either.

My question - what would happen if I run the smitfaud program while in normal mode? I really want to get rid of this spylocked popup.
thanks for your help.

Hi,

The smitfraudfix should remove it in normal mode as well. Just reboot afterwards.

Let me know if that solved your problem.
Also make sure you download the latest version, because it has been updated recently.
