I did have the iosdt.exe and WToolsA which i had finally removed, my pc is just running slower than it shoud be. i ran spybot and ad-aware se and HJT

CPU usage is around 6% now after getting rid of iosdt.exe.
PF usage is 211MB
Hardrive is 23.4 GB used space - 51.0 GB free space
only had pc for 1 year, purchased new march 04.
Running Win XP Home SP2
Norton Antivirus 2005 (i heard not the best) but came with 04 but upgraded it.
Using office xp pro with frontpage & Publisher.
Should be using peer 2 peer file sharing? i'm using Morpheus & WinMX.

It is possible a malware program is running.
Please read this "How to post a HJT log" and add your log as a reply to this post, we'll take a look at it from this angle.

I moved your identical post from "General Chat" to "Business Applications" since it is requested no computer support questions are asked in General Chat.
(thats where we try to get away from the PC problems for a bit)

Check Hardware & Software Forum
in case someone who might be familiar with this particular problem posts a reply.

Be patient with the replies here.
It takes longer than you'd like to get a good, clear answer.
patiently patrolling, plenty of persisant pests n' problems ...

pc is running slower than it should, only 12 months old.
running windows xp home
office xp pro with frontpage and publisher
21GB used space on hardrive - 51GB free space
CPu usage is 6% (was 100% when i had iosdt.exe) (i also had WToolsA, but gone)
office xp shortcut bar comes up when i go to office tools or press ctrl+alt+up
just that there is no option to make it load on windows start up like office 2000.

should i be using peer 2 peer file sharing programs? i'm using morpheus & WinMX.
