Hi to All!

I'm here because I'm new to Linux, and want to become a power user.

It may take some time!

Rob.

Utmost Respect from A Newbie

This newbie shares that sentiment, too.

Welcome and make yourself at home.
Linux operating on our respective PC's
is definately scheduled sometime in the not-to-distant future, digitalrob.

At the rate I'm goin', I expect you'll be up & running

Hello and welcome to BC.

You will find that the Linux is indeed a very helpful forum. I encourage anyone to expand their mind and take the dive into that Operating System. One day, I will as well.
We are all curious like a cat. We wonder, we ask, we learn.
Please post back when a suggestion works, so that others may learn.
