I am using IE 7, and today something called "awesomehomepage" has set itself as my homepage. I have changed it 3 times today and it keeps coming back. Anyone else had this mess, and how to get rid of stupid thing. It seems to be attached to the laugh network. Now I am getting crap from them. Thanks in advance !!

Take a look in Add/Remove and see if it is in there. I have looked around on the web and found a mention of it being dropped by Vundo or winfixer. Vundo is very serious infection and can be difficult to remove. I would suggest that you post a Hijack This log by following the instructions in the link below. Do not post the log in this forum but in the Hijack This Forum.
