Is it possible to overclock a PII...or is it even fathomable?!?! (on a Dell Latitude CPi A)

NOTE: If your wondering, yes I did question my insanity when I thought of this.

As long as the BIOS allows it you can. many computer manufactures (like compaq) lock the multiplier. however a 333mHz P2 can be OC'd to around 666mHz or at least thats what I got out of the last P2 i over clocked.

As a note if you do not already use Folding@Home use it to test the stability of the Overclock. If there are any major issues you'll know because F@H uses all of the CPU's abiltiies that arent being used else where. Just click my sig for the BC thread on F@H

Well, since it's a dell laptop, I'm pretty sure there are no options in the BIOS for overclocking, do you know of any good programs that could overclock it, just as a test. This system runs hot as it is, so I don't really plan on overclocking it too much, I was more curious than anything.

And I'll look into folding on my other computer, my laptop is slow as it is and i use it all the time. My other computer (the one in my sig) should be up for it, but i got a new video card so it won't be up and running till monday. After that, I'm good for it...that's so awesome.
