Hi I have symantec protection telling me I have a back door trojan in c:/windows/20.tmp that cannot be removed, or quarantined so I have this window on my screen. Help!!! I have used computers for years and have a basic general knowledge. I did go into dos and attempted to delete, in safe mode. when I rebooted it came back, I assume there must be another file reinstalling it every time I try to rid myself of this pest. Can any one help me. Thanks Wanda

Backdoor trojans are not to be taken lightly. They can collect personal banking and credit card data. You should consider changing all passwords, especially financial related, from another computer. Monitor your credit cards, paypal, checking accounts.

Install Super Antispyware. Run it in safe mode. Allow it to quarantine whatever it finds.

Run the online scan for Bit Defender in normal mode. Allow it to quarantine whatever it finds.

Also download and scan with AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5 in "SAFE MODE".
(This is Ewdio 4.0 renamed. If you already have Ewido installed, please update to this version which has a special "clean driver" for removing persistent malware.)
Be sure to print out and follow the AVG Anti-Spyware Install-Scan Instructions.
