I want to upgrade the memory in my PC from the current 700 to over 1GB, but I want someone here to point me in the right direction, because I don't want someone on Ebay to sell me something that will break or catch on fire or anything. I also want it to be cheap.

Well madman...with 29 posts you should realize that the majority of members here are not psychic. If you want help you will need to provide us with either the computer's make and model, or the make and model of the motherboard. After that I'm sure that help will be prompt.
