This problem has been with me for some time now and is very annoying.
Operating system is XP SP2 and the problem appears when using both Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer6 and also 7 - I've tried them all. It isn't just one computer either but also on my laptop which is running IE7 at present.
Whenever I access the eBay homepage a partial message saying 'Server not found check address for typing errors etc. If you are unable to load pages check your computer's network connection etc. etc.' appears but does not stop me viewing subsequent pages or doing anything else on the site. Also it does not appear whenever I access any other site on the web.
I'm not entirely sure but this problem seemed to start around the time I changed from ISDN to ADSL and I'm wondering if it could be an ISP problem? Or, maybe it's just eBay?
Has anyone else ever had this happen? I'd be interested to know if it's fixable.

Thanks.
