My computer crashed today. An error stating that my windows files were missing or corrupt. Quick call to PC world who talked me through a system restore.
Only problem now is, I cant get my MP3 player software to work. its a Samsung YP-Z5F. I plug it in via USB, the computer detects it and then pops up a bubble saying an error occured during installation and my hardware may not work properly. And it doesn't! I cant get windows media player or the samsung software to recognise the player is plugged in.
How can I get it back to working fine the way it was before the system restore?
Thanks
Donna

Try uninstalling the Samsung software. Then download the latest version from the Samsung website and install it.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

Have it sorted now. Seems i had some archaic version of Windows Media player after the restore. Nothing a reupgrade to version 11 hasn't fixed :-)
