Hi all,
I've been getting a start up pop up with UPFGHDDK.dll error.
I've googled it and I can't seem to locate what it is.

Any help would be appreciated.

Did you recently remove some viruses or spyware from your system? Did this thing start just after that? If so, it's likely a remnant of the malware trying to start itself.

Use this free program to identify it's location: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysintern...s/Autoruns.mspx

You'll be able to disable/delete it using the program also.

If the popup (at startup) says that the file UPFGHDDK.dll could not be found - then it should be safe to delete that entry in Autoruns.

I haven't used the program in a while, but there should be an entry to disable it (rather than delete it) - try that first. A reboot will tell you if it worked.
