Sounds like there might be a loose connection in the case somewhere.

Well, another thing you can do is to check if it's overheating. SpeedFan will allow you to do this.

Have a look in the event viewer for any error messages.

How to view and manage event logs in Event Viewer in Windows XP

You can't expect instant help on these types of forums - nobody here is getting paid to offer assistance. If you need instant help take your computer to the local repair store. Many people here have to wait days to get their problems sorted out.

a few questions as this is the first time Ive seen any of your posts.

1) What CPU do you have?
2)have you overclocked it?
3)how old is the laptop?
4)how much RAM do you have?
5)How many programs are you running at any given time?

but aside from all those questions on a simple educated guess youve got a short or a loose wire. The CPU is warm but not overly so. (at least in my opinion

one thing remove you email address from the thread before you get Spammed.

I agree with BlackSpyder in that I still think the most likely cause is a loose connection somewhere. The reason I asked you to download SpeedFan is so we could find out if the CPU is overheating. An overheating CPU will cause your computer to shut off unexpectedly. Your's is running a little warm, but not excessively so. Most laptops run a little warm anyway.
