I've seen other computers with this problem but i haven't been able to figure it out. I have an HP Livestrong L2000 (limited edition) and its a friend of mines and he said it doesn't work anymore. When I start it up, everything runs and turns on, but I get a blank white screen for about 15 seconds than the system shuts off. I'm wondering if anyone has had experience with this problem. I'm hoping its something minor like maybe a BIOS failure and not something costly like a dead mobo. NOTE: I think he spilt something on it..... (white screen when I first got it, cleaned everything out and still have a white screen)

Any input on this would be appreciated.

Regards
Yoda

No, nothing, just a white screen than off. My friend also said he dropped it and it stopped working. So I'm thinking that the spill has nothing to do with it.
