hi,
I know this may seem very obvious to most people, but how do you get voice reginition to work?
Do you have to install special software? if so, where can i download it?

hi again,
i did as it instructed, went to control panel, clicked speech, and when i got there,there was no voice regognition tab to click on. Can you help again?

In that case, you need to go to this site and download the files http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;displaylang=en
I hope you are not on a dial up connection, it will take a while to download. or you can run it from the site I believe.
run the one called SpeechSDK51.exe then this will give you the extra tab in the speech applet in control panel.
