Corrupted Msn
I received this virus from one of my contacts.
I accepted the file and now it's corrupting my msn.
It randomly opens and closes msn conversations with my contacts and sends out the same virus file I recieved and also sends out messages such as "My sister told me to send you these pictures" or " LOOL accept my pictures!"... and so on.
I am clueless with computers. (It's already obvious when I said I accepted the file on msn)
I have scanned my computer many times with AVG and Avast and I couldn't even restore the system either.
Please Help Me, I would really appreciate it! =(

Hi there,

Sorry for the delay, this forum is very busy right now.

One reason your topic has not been answered is that you did not post a HijackThis log for us to analyze.

Please follow the steps in this guide. It explains the series of preliminary scans you should do and exactly how to download the HijackThis program and run it to produce the log.

When you have the log, post it in a reply to this topic. Also please tell me what the preliminary scans found -- the exact names of the malware such as 'Mydoom' or 'Vundo.' This information will be a huge help in devising a plan to clean up your computer.

Dave
