1. Go to http://maps.google.com
2. Click on "Get Directions"
3. From: New York, NY
4. To: Dublin, Ireland
5. Check out step #23.
6. Scroll back up and check your travel time.

I just tried this with another city and it still gives the direction to swim across the Atlantic Ocean...

Btw anyone trying the swim bear left at the Ambrose light out of NY harbor to catch the Gulf stream, it'll be warmer.

I'd have to say they're not the best source for directions Posted Image as the last time I used Google Earth to look for a Pacific Island they were off by 800+ miles Posted Image

IIRC, I was looking for Easter Island , and silly me, I typed in "Easter Island " and it took me to a open patch of the Pacific , and after zooming out and doing a visual search (I know where it was) and BINGO ! , it's was only 800 some miles to the southeast if memorys serves :thumbsup:
was wanting to see if I could scope out any "Moai", as I can pick out cars in driveways in most of the U.S.

Yes, I seem to notice inaccuracies. On the google maps my house is about halfway up the road when its meant to be on the corner.
