Situation :

Ff 2.0.0.3 . XP SP2 Home
Computer crashed. When I got it working again all my bookmarks were gone. The funny thing was that all the addons and passwords were still there. Unfortunally I did not back them up..
How could I find them back. There were hundreds...

Good job, fozzie.
It's a good idea to make a copy of bookmarks.html, at least once a week, and save it somewhere outside of Firefox.
That way, if Firefox becomes totally corrupt, you haven't lost all of your bookmarks.
Then, when you burn backups of all of your personal files, you can add the copy of bookmarks.html to them, in case of a system crash.

I have downloaded and installed Foxmarks. I will let you how it is.
Firefox makes an automatic backup for 5 days for all bookmarks., which you can find under the folder bookmark backups.. I just copied the html file to a memory stick as a double precaution..
