Hi

I am relatively new to computers and have found a problem with creating a new user account. My main account works normally, but when I tried to create a new account, I gave it a name and switched accounts. The screen came up normally, with fewer icons obviously, but clicking on Outlook Express produced a loud thunk! and nothing happened. I tried to click on other icons with the same result.

Any ideas anyone please?

Thats a thinker lol. Sounds like you created the user properly. Is your computer just thinking really hard?

Hi John, did you set up the user as a limited account or admimistrator account? (see gavin has a sence of humor. Funny post!)

This only happens with the new user accounts? Try logging completely off and back on again usin gthe new accounts instead of the fast user switch. Let us know what happens.
