My 'run' In Start Menu And Folder Options In Control Panel Is Missing But Accdg To My Norton Av The Computer Has No Viruses Anymore

Please help. I tried everything, some were advised by HJT Team. i used mcaffe and norton AV to remove outlook.vbs and other viruses like ravmone.exe. now i don't have viruses. i also ran super anti-spyware in safe mode and i also ran the online virus scanner. i will run late the ccleaner. but i still can't find the command prompt in start menu and my folder OPTIONS! my folder options in control panel is important for me bec it hels me delete hidden files. thank you HJT

Hi,

Open notepad and copy and paste next present in the quotebox below in it:
(don't forget to copy and paste REGEDIT4)

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]
"NoRun"=-
"NoFolderOptions"=-

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]
"NoRun"=-
"NoFolderOptions"=-

Save this as fix.reg Choose to save as *all files and place it on your desktop.
It should look like this: Posted Image
Doubleclick on it and when it asks you if you want to merge the contents to the registry, click yes/ok.
(In case you are unsure how to create a reg file, take a look here with screenshots.)

Also, since you were dealing with this flashdrive infection, although you said you cleaned it, I strongly recommend you run nextt tool to get rid of the leftovers:
