Current Specs:

Dell Dimension 8300
2x256MB RAM (512MB)
Radeon 9800
Pentium 4 CPU 2.66GHz

People are telling me that I can only get a PSU through Dell. They say that I will fry my mobo if I use one from Newegg. Is this true? Right now I only have a 170W PSU, which isn't enough for the 7600GT I want: http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?...N82E16814150210. I am looking for max settings for BF2/BF2142. Thanks.

You should be fine. On my Dell dimension 3000, I have used another PSU, and it worked fine.

Ok, thanks. Any other opinions just in case before I order?
