i tried the 1024 x 768 screen resolution about a month ago, and now i am stuck with it, even if i try to go back to 800 x 600, then when i start up again i am back to 1024 x 768 again,

every night i turn off my computer with a screen resolution of 800 x 600, and every morning i turn on my computer and it is set to the 1024 x 768 resolution,

how can i break this cycle ??

What graphics card are you using? Did you use the Windows display proprties dialogue or a manufacturer's custom dialogue to change the settings?
