I recently tried to remove an anti-key logger program from my computer. However, after I restarted, I realized all my mp3s, word documents, pictures, etc. were missing from my computer. So I did a system restore to a couple of days prior. This returned everything but the word documents. It is very important that I recover them, if it is possible, and I'd appreciate any advice anyone has. Thanks.

SYSTEM restore was not designed to restore all files, just those necessary to the operating system. Have you tried to change the folder/file settings to "show hidden files" and/or have you used the search function in Explorer to look for a filename that you are sure you had?
