Does Anyone Know How To Get A Dvd Drive Out Of An Acer Lap Top ?

hiya, my DVD drive in my lap top has been broken for ages, i would really like to get another one to fit in it,

i can find them on ebay easy enough, but are they compatible ? and how do i get the old one out ?. the sellers dont seem to be interested in either question !.

my lap top is an Acer Aspire 1363 WLMi

any help at all, will be very welcome

Check for and type of latch/push button. Usually Laptop makes gives your the option of interchanging it with a floppy.

So you have one of two options, flip it upside-down and look for a switch of some sort, or screws (But most likely wont be screws)
