Hi everyone, I'm new here and I was wondering if you guys could help.

You see, my task manager won't open and I've tried like everything. I found this place by searching for ways to help, and I saw someone had a post and I did what it said but it's not coming to a close. I just can't figure this out.

So, I read that it might be a virus and that I should run my spyware-removal thing, and I did. But, it still won't work. Then it said to run the Hijackthis thing, so I did. Here's what it came up with in the log thing:

Welcome to the BleepingComputer HijackThis forum PyleKenrose

It appears you've no virus protection installed.
If indeed that is the case,download\install one of the following free options.
Once installed update the programs virus definitions and run a full system virus scan:

AVG7 Free Edition Antivirus:

Avast! 4 Home Edition:

Active Virus Shield
There's a nice setup tutorial Here:

Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.0 is in BETA stages, and anything in BETA is not to be trusted, please do the following:

Delete Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.0.

Download and install Hijackthis.
This is a self-extracting version which will automatically install HJT to C:\Program Files\Hijackthis by default,a desktop shortcut will also be created.
Launch Hijack This and press:'Do a system scan and save a logfile'.
Notepad will pop up showing the Hijack This log.
Copy and paste the entire content of that log into your next reply please.
You'll also find the Hijackthis logfile in C:\Program Files\Hijackthis.
