Hello to all.
I'm newly a member here, but a rather frequent user of this and other similar self-help forums.
My main reason for joining bleepingcomputer.com (apart from the fact that I love the very apt name) is that I have come across a ! of a browser hijacker in a friend's computer that, thus far, has eluded my attempts at eradication. (abosearch somethingorother proxyoverride thisn'that)
Later in the week, I will be posting my query relating to said computer, once I have time to work on it again.
For now, I'm simply letting you know that I'm here.
I'm looking forward to a helpful (mutually, I hope) association with this forum,
and I'd like to say a pre-emptive Thank You to any who might be able to help me locate and terminate this problem, and those that I undoubtedly will need assistance with in the future...

Many thanks,
