This computer was and still is reporting an unusually high amount of spyware (30-40 items). It reported a DSS agent. I reported it to BC.com and the instructions were to manually remove it from the registry, which I did. As well, I removed it from a file extension.
The computer continues to run slow and has persistent performance malfunctions such as when right clicking in item, the right click menu disappears very quickly. This has been going on for several weeks and the comp has never done this.
Certain Java Script apps fail.
Internet message apps fail such as plug ins.
A lot of wierd things are going on besides this and my computer is constantly working in the background even when there are few apps open. There has got to be a solution. Help, please.

First do this :

start with checking for malware causes to your problem.
Install Super Antispyware. Run it in safe mode. Allow it to quarantine whatever it finds.

Run the online scan for Bit Defender in normal mode. Allow it to quarantine whatever it finds.

I am not able to give a answer to this but I can point you down a route. This would be to download HiJackThis and follow the step in the apropriate part of the forum.

Follow the instructions marked in this post thread

I have already responded in your other thread here where you posted another hijackthis log which I split away and move to the HJT forum. Please do not duplicate postings as this causes confusion and makes it more difficult to get the help you need to resolve your issues. Thanks for your cooperation.
