Getting Rid Of Backdoor.haxdoor

I have the Backdoor.Haxdoor virus on my computer and no matter how many times i run Norton antivirus and it says it has removed the virus, it remains. Can someone tell me what to do?

Hi Sterl902 and Welcome to Bleeping Computer,

These are the instructions for removal of the Backdoor.Haxdoor virus.
However, I strongly suggest that you post a Log in the HijackThis Forum and have the trained experts deal with this issue.
Once you've posted there, please do not make any changes to your computer until the team member advises you it is okay to do so.

Follow the instructions in this Preparation Guide for use before posting a HijackThis Log .

Post that Log In This Forum by clicking on 'New Topic'.
Chaos reigns within.
Reflect, repent, and reboot.
Order shall return.
