Hello all,

I have replaced original 30 GB HD in older HP Pavilion.
New one Toshiba 80 GB was pushed in and WIN XP installed and everything was running fine for couple next days.
Then I found out that some files from user profile on old HD (in external box) are not accessible due to NTFS rights, so I decided to put old HD back and move all needed staff to another location.
After start BIOS did not recognized this HD anymore, but when I get it back to ext. box everything was OK.
What's worse, the same thing repeated with new HD and now I am not able to start.

Do you guys have any idea whats the problem?

Thanks for any advice.

If you logon to the local machine as a Administrator then this should not be a issue as the resultant rights should allow access.
