My friend is building a new computer, which I pretty much picked out all the parts out for him (hope it works  ). I picked out a motherboard that has integrated graphics's that he can use for now, but he wants a graphics card pretty soon. I told him it would probably be best to wait for the new geforce 8 series because I heard there will be one for around 100$. He also has windows vista so I figured DX10 would be better.

Does anyone know when these cards are suppose to be out? If its going to be a while maybe he'll just get a 7600GT. Would one of the cheaper 8 series cards be a lot better though? Thanks for reading this!
