well, the title should say it all. every time i try to reboot or something, and i am in windows xp, it starts to reboot, but when it comes to actually doing it, it freezes. the same thing happens when i try to turn off the computer. i have to use the reset button to reboot it, or the on/off button to turn it off.

what could be the problem here?

(ps, i tried doing some searches, but didnt find anything. if this have been adressed before, please point me there =) )
