I have just obtained Knoppix disc and changed bios to drive it, I can bring up modem connection window,but require info on how to setup same? i cannot clear to type in providers name or password!!
Help Please.

You may have solved this problem already (or given up). but are you trying to connect a dial-up modem?

Just reading your answere Groovicus,and thank you ! Yes i was trying to connect through a modem,
however problem now solved,but will be posting another quer'y today for help.
