AntiSpyware & AntiVirus Programs compatible with Vista
avast and AVG are free. Both are excellent and used by many members here at BC.

For a protection list for Windows Vista, I'd go with the following:

-Norton 360 (While I know Norton is not favored upon here on BC, the 360 product IS lower on system resources and the firewall is better)

-Webroot SpySweeper (Costs $30 for a two year subscription. Click on the Kim Komando listener link on webroot.com )

Those two should help a lot. I've found that there is only a few antispyware products that are compatible with Vista.
