I once had both my disc cleanup+defrag set up in my scheduled tasks. I am using Windows XP, Home Edition,SP2. I had these tasks both to run weekly, but it appears they haven't done so in a very long time.
I was able to manually get cleanup to work this evening in the normal Windows mode. Disc defrag just has text appearing in a black box, nothing at all like I used to see manually.
I have tried to reschedule both of these, but to no avail. The scheduled task did not run because an incorrect user name or password was entered.
Last run time was never.
How can I get the above mentioned errors if these are automatically scheduled tasks?
Do I need to delete the programs from scheduled tasks+try to re-enter them?
I just don't know how this ever happened.
Thank you for your suggestions.
