Virus or unwanted program 'APPL/CloseApp'
detected in file 'C:\System Volume Information\_restore{CCE94EE2-BB8B-44F9-A493-122354977097}\RP100\A0014639.exe' [APPL/CloseApp].

I get this every now and then from my AntiVir. Can someone explain to me what this is?

The location for the malware it is finding is in system restore. You can remove it by following the directions below.

Reset System Restore
To reset System Restore:-
System Properties| Performance | File System | Troubleshooting

and check "Disable System Restore", Apply and IMMEDIATELY reboot.
This will flush you restore folder and erase all checkpoints, then

System Properties| Performance | File System | Troubleshooting

and UNcheck "Disable System Restore", Apply

Install Super Antispyware. Run it in safe mode. Allow it to quarantine whatever it finds.

If the program above doesn't solve your problem,
Post a Hijack This log in the appropriate forum by following the directions in the link below.
