When using the BC program information, I found this for aolsoftware;

This is an undesirable program.
This file has been identified as a program that is undesirable to have running on your computer.
This consists of programs that are misleading, harmful, or undesirable.

When I checked it out at totalvirus I found that no virus found, this is puzzleing, did I search the
wrong file or am I missing something ? :thumbsup:

aolsoftware C:\Program Files\Common Files\...

Of the three aol files the above file is the one I searched.

LM_AOLsoftware C:\Program Files\Common Files\...

aolSoftwareStrings C:\Program Files\Common Files\...

Do you know when this software was on your computer? Did it come with a CD that you install on your computer when you joined AOL; if you did.

ComputerWhizz7,

I subscribed to AOL and did not use a CD, I'm not sure when this software was loaded onto my computer.

Is there a date somewhere ? I've querried AOL but have not received an answer.
