When sending e-mail through OE6, spell check links to Windows Installer (?) MS Picture It! Which then can lock up the system.

Any ideas on why it's suddenly linking to MS Picture It?

(I've been through the suggestions @ MS.com, and they didn't work.)

Please help!

This is a little out of my area, but I am guessing that the associations got screwed up somehow, but I couldn't say definately that it is because of malware.

What were the suggestions form Microsoft?? And what type of spell checker are you using??

MS told me to check a file in the System Reg for a backslash, but it was already there. I use MS Word (Office) for my spell check. I'm going to go ahead and post my "log" in for somebody to check for me. Thanks!

OKAY! WHEW! Thanks for the help! Below is the new hijackthis log you requested. This time, when OE6 asked for the MS Picture It! CD, I let it run it's course, and I'm "assuming" it pulled the dictionary from MSPI because now, it is running fine. HOWEVER, along with OE6's errors, I had a few other little blips. Now--knock on wood--they aren't coming up at all with startup. I think all your suggestions might have cleaned up my system. Your a lifesaver! Let me know if you see anything below that needs to go....
