My problem started when I noticed that the screen was flickering a little. I rebooted and my screen did not. Its power light was on but nothing was on the screen. I unplugged it from the power stick and then unplugged from the pc. Powered it back up but nothing. After two hours I powered it up and it came back on. All good right. Wrong next time I powered down same thing. However took over night to come back on.
This is a two year old 17 inch Dell. Is it about to die or can it be fixed? No warranty left. Works fine until I reboot then nothing for awhile anyway.

Hi myzr.
Got another monitor you can swap?
Doesn't matter how you do it. That monitor on another system or another monitor on this system.
Really need to eliminate a graphics card\on board video issue.

HitSquad , Hello and Thanks for the look. Sorry about that should have included that I have an old Ibm monitor on my desk and it works fine in the place of the dell flat screen. I use it with my old sony that has a tv tuner so I can watch espn while I am playing fantasy sports on the dell. So the graphics card is good I'm sure its the flat screen.. In fact I am using the dell right now and it looks fine but just ten minutes ago it was flickering like a neon light going bad... bummer.
