Sometimes when I restart my system, it sometimes stalls and freezes on the loading your personal settings page.

Any idea on how to solve this problem.
Regards,

Alan.

If you do not get an error message, you can:
1. Check to see what applications launch on boot and delete unneeded ones.
2. Run checkdisk, then defrag your hard drive.

Or after this happened directly go to eventviewer (START RUN type eventvwr) and look for white crosses in red dots. This could give a good lead where we have to look for.

cheers for the reply,

My system is scanned regularly, (once a week) and I have set it so that only the programs that need to run are starting with windows, with regards to the eventviewer, I have looked, the only error that I can find is caller srv and says that the computers call to a system failed unexpectedly
Regards,

Alan.
