Well now I have a hardware question of my own. LOL

Does anyone know the maximum distance that a monitor cable can be?

I know abot Cat5 ; coax etc. But don't remember seeing anything on a monitor cable.

The question has to do with the fact there are KVM switches and multiple monitor switches so remote computers and monitors can be run from a central location. But i find no data on how far they can be from the central station.

Google says 10 meters for monitor
100 meters (364 ft) for CAT 5
