Hello Antdog83,

I have this file that shows up in my taskbar and keeps popping up telling me system alert. I have tried everything to get rid of it.

What have you tried in fixing attempts?

I see some very strange entries in your Hijackthis log. Have you been been modifying registry?
Or using Hijackthis without expert guidence?

Please download SmitfraudFix

Double-click SmitfraudFix.exe
Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press "Enter"; a text file will appear, which lists infected files (if present).
Please copy/paste the content of that report into your next reply.

Note : process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs (AntiVir, Dr.Web, Kaspersky) as a "RiskTool"; it is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user.

Well it's not my computer its my friends. He has before used registry cleaner and i think he may have gotten rid of some things that he shouldn't have. He also has tried numerous amounts of spyware programs to include spyware doctor, ad aware se, windows defender. And probably many more that i don' t know of. I told him that registry cleaner shouldn't be used by anyone who doesn't know much out reg files or just computers period.

.

Spyware Doctor, Ad-aware SE, Windows Defender are all OK to run.

And probably many more that i don' t know of. I told him that registry cleaner shouldn't be used by anyone who doesn't know much out reg files or just computers period

.

I am sorry to say that your friend my have really screwed up his computer by running the registry cleaner and who knows what, trying to fix it himself. Cleaning up his mess may be impossible.
If you delete items in the registry, without knowing what they are, it can lead to other problems such as your Internet no longer working or problems with running Windows itself. .

Why doesnt your friend post his own log, rather than go through you?
