Mar 3rd a member indicated the same difficulitis I'm having getting IE 7 browser widows to load full screen from desk top icons. The two suggestions offered did not work for me. Info on how to fix this is located at the address below. My question is, if you don't have MS FrontPage, is there another way to get the JavaScript instructions loaded into IE?

Or, if someone has another - hopefully easier way of fixing this, please help!

The instructions in the link you provided applied to IE4 thru IE5.5.
This is a bug that Micro$oft is (hopefully) working on as there are many IE7 users reporting this problem.

Maybe one day you will get the answer from The IE7 News Group,so far they have not been able to come up with one.
Then please report back to us with the fix!

If it is really bothersome, remove IE7 via add/remove programs and use IE6 until a fix is found.
Chaos reigns within.
Reflect, repent, and reboot.
Order shall return.

I'm a little confused here.
MS Frontpage is a web authoring tool and would have nothing to do with IE opening in a small window from the IE desktop shortcut itself. If you are coding a web page, forgive me.
I also don't see a mar 3 post, in this forum of this year anyway, offering any suggestions.
If IE is just opening in a small window from the desktop shortcut, try this in order.
1. Open IE, click and drag the edges of the window to fill the screen. (don't use the max shortcut)
2. Click File>New>Window to open another window. Drag it to full screen as you did the first.
3. Close the first window you resized via the File>Exit menu.
4. Close the second window you resized the same way.
The settings should stick afterwards.

Hi HitSquad,
The March 3rd post dennetman is referring to is This One under Windows XP Home and Prof.
Basically the same instructions you provided I think.

Hope your method works!
