Please help! I've been fighting this for almost a month now. I've run Spybot and Adaware several times, and I've run both just before I posted this. Thank you in advance!

I did what you said, but when I went into safe mode to delete C:\Program Files\Common files\WinTools there was no wintools folder.

The problem i've been having is massive amounts of popup ads that I cant get rid of, even if i use adaware and spybot.

and heres the link to a free popup blocker
http://www.panicware.com/product_psfree_download.html

Also try spyware guard and spyware blaster
spyware blaster will block spyware from comming in when you surf the net(compatible with IE, mozilla and firefox) and spyware guard is a resident scanner.
