after 5 reinstall, uninstalls, and countless reboots, i've still got no apache :flowers:

http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c64/thesplodge/apache.jpg

i decided it was MS IIS so i've deleted that, and coldfusion, just incase, same pop up on loading, still no apache

i ran hijackthis to see if something else could be using ports, 80 and 443, now i'm totaly confused

PS. i hide all the regular stuff, adobe, macromedia, norton ect, makes it easier to find any new stuff, the last 023 #s are the last download of xampp, i often have the (file missing) thing, i noticed lots of .ppl do, no one seems to care,

HijackThis will not show any ports., nor is it useful for diagnosing software issues. It appears that Apache is running though, even though Xamp says it is not. All of the software that you have installed has so much potential for interfering with each other, which makes it tough to diagnose.

Maybe it is time for a fresh install of everything? Or try starting Apache by hand, without anything else running and see if it will start.
