When I try to open My network connections I get a error message.

explorer.exe Application error
The instruction at "0x77c47464" refferenced memory at "0x00183154" the memory could not be "read"

click ok or cancle

If i try it again it will give me the same error message or sometimes cause the computer to lockup. Every once and a while I can open My Network Places, but it usualy takes a long time

When i got the pc (about one year ago) i networked my old gateway to this new HP to transfer files. I had a hard time doing this, it took many tries with the network setups, i didnt really know what i was doing. But it did work.
I dont use networking much so i dont know when this started
I just set up a new network to add my laptop so i can get to the files on my HP. I was able to set up the network. The laptop can get to the HP but The HP can not open my network places?? I couldnt open my network places but i was able to use the network set up.

May be related but im not sure when using Bear Share It will shut down and give me a error message bearshare.exe application error but the refference numbers are "0x00000000 and 0x00000000"

Hp pavilion windows XP media center PC 3.0GHz 1gb ram XP version 2002 service pack 2

Thanks I really dont know what to do. Is my memory/RAM bad?

We'll need the exact error message to troubleshoot this. Here's some links about how to find out more info:
