I have a rogue application that fires up every now and then. It will minimize my games and show something with no name in my taskbar for just a second, and then disappear. Leaving me at my desktop.

I have run loads of virus scanners, ad-aware, spybot... yadda yadda..

I just want to find a simple and free program that I can run for 30 minutes to catch the little bugger. Where I can look at what is launching and where it is.

I posted my hijackthis report, plus the steps I have taken to squash this annoyance thus far in the hijackthis loads forum here... http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/83520/mystery-program-minimizing-full-screen-apps/

Thank you in advance.

Be patient since the boards are very busy. If you haven't had a reply within 5 days, post Here. Make no changes to your computer by installing programms..

KoldFusion,

I see you have an open HJT log posted in the HijackThis Logs and Analysis forum.
You shouldn't make any changes to your system, including the addition of new programs, while your HJT log is posted, as that could change the results of the posted log, making it difficult to properly clean your system.
At this point, the HJT Team should be the only members that you take advice from, until they have verified your log as clean.

I'm closing this topic until you are cleared by the HJT Team.
If, after your log has been cleaned, you still need help, please PM a Moderator and we will re-open this topic.
