I posted this once on 1 March but the suggestions did not work. Maybe I should explain better: When I go to an icon on my desktop and open it, the window that opens is about 4" wide and 6 or 7" high. I can open it by maximizing or hit F11 to do it. How can I get windows to open maximized? This just started the other day when I must have "did sompin' wrong."
Move your cursor to the bottom right of the window until it turns into: . Now drag the window to the size you want it to open to then hold down the Ctrl key then click on the X to close the window. it should now open to the size you set it at.
I am experiencing the same re-sizing issue with Explorer 7. Non of the suggestions have worked for me. I didn't have this problem until I un/reinstalled 7. My wife's computer has the same annoyance. Not a big deal, but annoying. If there are other suggestions, I would apprecitate knowing them.
