When I am using my user and open a folder some files do not appear, they are not hidden files. I log in as another user and the files are there? We are both Admin user, I have look at Folder Option- View and its the same. How can this be selective toward one user?

Each user account has a separate and different "My Documents" folder. Files in that folder are only accessible when that user logs in to their account. Being a "computer administrator" makes no difference. Everything in each user's 'My Documents' folder is private to them.

The files I am looking for are not in the "Documents and Settings" They are in "Program Files"
The problem started when I noticed my "Internet Explorer" Icon was gone. I went to put a shortcut back on and the file was gone! My wife's user still had the Icon and when I went in the folder the file was there. Went back to my user and the file does not appear. I compared the properties from my user and my wifes, when looking at the Folder "Internet Explorer" it is the same ( 44 files 8 Folders)
