Computer/screen "freeze"

Whenever I'm on the Internet my computer/screen "freezes" and I get a result of "Not Responding" in Taskmaster, can anyone help ?

Also check the rest of your hardware. Clean out any dust from the fans and heatsink.

Does this happen each and every time you connect?
Is there a consistency in this? For example, does it happen when you launch your browser, or when you navigate to a certain page?
Does it happen at any other time when you are not connected?
Some details would help narrow down the many possible causes for this.
