Where To Buy / Download Quake 3

i'd like to buy quake 3 but want to get it online (meaning download it directly).
any tips on where as just spent 30 minutes on google with no luck.
win7 Ultimate 64bit
2 x 24" LG Monitors

Try a game site and also try using a different search engine.

If you know the company that made it, I'm sure they have a web site.

had already tried ID and Activision but no luck on downloading Quake 3 Arena which really surprised me.
why do they make it so hard?
ah well, i'm gonna head to the store today and try to get an honest copy.
