Infra Red In Windows 2003

i am using 2003 and ofcourse infrared is not available,i red somewhere in a forum that we can
add infrared support which has been ripped from microsoft. does anybody know about it?

You would need to get an infared device, but more of the question why do you need it? If it is to transfer data, you would be better off going through the network or even a USB flash drive.
