A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down in order to prevent damage to your computer.

If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

Check to be sure you have adequate disk space. If a driver is identified in the stop message, disable the driver or check with the manufacturer for driver updates. Try changing video adapters.

Check with your hardware vendor for any BIOS updates. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select startup options, and then select safe mode.

Here's a link to the error message:
http://aumha.org/win5/kbestop.php#0x8e

Have you taken any of the steps advised by the STOP error? Have you installed any new hardware recently, or have you updated any drivers recently?

Avoid the BIOS flash until the last thing because it's a dangerous thing to do (and can mess up your system even worse).
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

Thanks you so much for responding. So far after that one time of shutting off by itself. It has not done it since . But it has happened before when i try to turn off my PC and it would show a blue page with i believe the same error message or something like that. but that was the first time it just shut off by itself. and when it has cut off by itself before it was due to over heating and i just recently got a new fan installed So i guess that is what you mean by saying have i installed new hardware right? is their something i should do because i have changed my fan? i will take a look at the link you provided and if i have anymore problems i will ask for your help again . Thanks
